Welcome to Countryball Creator, developed by Rolle Studios. We are committed to providing a creative experience focused on user privacy. This updated policy reflects our current technical implementation across iOS and Android, including Sign in with Apple, optional in-app subscriptions, and Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) alongside Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP).

2. Data Collection & Accounts

We prioritize your privacy and design our features to minimize data collection:

• Optional Community Accounts: You do not need to create an account to use the offline creative tools. However, to share your creations, view others' creations, comment, and like in the Community Feed, you can sign in via Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In. If you create an account, we store your profile details (User ID, display name, avatar) and email address.
• User Generated Content (UGC): When you share a scene or item, we upload and store the scene data, custom audio clips, preview screenshots, tags, description, and creation metadata on our secure servers (using Supabase) to display them in the public feed.
• Purchases & Subscriptions: If you purchase an Ad-Free subscription or digital items, store transactions are processed directly by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Rolle Studios does not store or process your financial payment cards; we store only entitlement statuses to unlock your features.
• Local Storage: By default, your local drawings and scene drafts are saved on your device's memory. We do not access or collect them unless you explicitly choose to publish them to the Community.

3. Usage Analytics & Technical Monitoring

We use the Firebase suite to understand app performance and improve the user experience.

• Google Analytics: Collects technical data such as feature usage frequency and button clicks. Data is linked to a pseudonymous persistent UUID to track trends without identifying you personally.
• Firebase Crashlytics & Performance: These services collect technical logs (stack traces, device model) and performance metrics to help us fix bugs and ensure a smooth experience.
• Opt-out: You can stop data collection by uninstalling the app or managing your advertising preferences in your device settings.

4. Device Permissions

The app requests specific permissions to enable its features:

• Photo Library / Gallery Access: On iOS (`NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription` & `NSPhotoLibraryAddUsageDescription`) and Android, this allows you to save your creations to your device gallery or import your own photos to use as background artwork.
• Data Security: While the app can read a photo you choose to import, Rolle Studios never uploads your private personal photos to any server. Processing happens entirely on your local device.

5. Third-Party Services, Advertising & ATT Consent

Our app utilizes Google Play Services, Apple App Store Services, and Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to provide and monetize our features. As part of our advertising mediation stack, we work with several trusted partners to deliver high-quality ads:

• Mediation Partners: To optimize ad delivery and ensure high fill rates, we utilize mediation services from Liftoff (Vungle), Unity Ads, Pangle, and AppLovin (see AppLovin Privacy Policy). Our partners collect and use your device's Advertising ID (IDFA / GAID) to serve relevant advertisements; you can find their privacy policies here: Liftoff and Unity Ads.
• Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) & Consent Management (UMP): On iOS, we request tracking permission via the system App Tracking Transparency dialog before serving personalized ads. In the EEA and UK, Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) manages user consent choices. You can revoke or change your consent at any time via the "Privacy Settings" button in the app's settings menu.
• Push Notifications: With your explicit permission, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send community updates. These can be disabled in your device settings at any time.

6. International Compliance (GDPR/CCPA/COPPA)

• GDPR (EU/UK): Under the GDPR, we act as a Data Controller for minimal technical data. Our lawful basis for processing technical identifiers is Consent (for personalized ads) and Legitimate Interest (for basic analytics and app stability).

• COPPA (USA): We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The optional community accounts, interactive sharing, comments, and community feeds are strictly intended for users aged 13 and older. If you are under 13, please do not register for a community account or submit any personal information.
• CCPA (California): We do not "sell" your personal information. We do not share your data for cross-context behavioral advertising without your explicit consent.

7. Your Rights & Account Deletion

Under international privacy laws (such as GDPR and CCPA) and in compliance with Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v) and Google Play Developer policies, you have the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data stored on our servers:

• In-App Account Deletion: You can delete your account and associated profile/community data at any time inside the app by tapping Settings > Delete Account.
• In-App Content Deletion: You can delete any scene or content you have shared with the community directly from the app. Deleting a scene permanently removes its database metadata, preview screenshots, and associated audio files.
• Permanent Account & Data Purge: When an account deletion is requested (in-app or via web), we permanently erase all data associated with it from our active databases within 30 days. This includes your profile details (Apple ID / Google ID, username, avatar, email), all published/draft scenes, and any likes/comments you have posted.

We may update our Privacy Policy if we introduce new features. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
