2. No Personal Data Collection
To ensure maximum privacy, this application does not collect, store, or share any personal identity information (PII):
- No Accounts: You do not need to create an account or sign in via Google or any other service.
- Local Storage: Your created maps and settings are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your creations.
- No Contact Data: We do not collect names, email addresses, or phone numbers from the app.
3. No Analytics or Tracking
Unlike many other apps, MapMaker does not use any analytics or tracking software.
- We do not track button clicks, time spent in the app, or user behavior.
- We do not perform A/B testing on our users.
4. Device Permissions
The app requests specific permissions to enable its features:
- Storage/Gallery Access: This allows you to save your creations to your device gallery or import your own assets to use on your maps.
- Data Security: While the app can read a file you choose to import, Rolle Studios never uploads your private assets to any server. Processing happens entirely on your device.
5. Third-Party Services
Our app utilizes Google Play Services (via Google Mobile Ads).
- Functionality: If ads are enabled, these services may use anonymous device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID) to serve advertisements.
- Privacy: These identifiers are managed by Google. You can reset your advertising ID or opt-out of personalized ads in your Android device settings.
6. International Compliance
- GDPR (EU): We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation. Since we do not collect personal data, we do not perform profiling or data processing of EU residents.
- COPPA (USA): We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, as the app is designed to function without data collection.
- CCPA (California): We do not sell or share personal information.
7. Your Rights
Under international privacy laws, you have the right to transparency. Since we do not store your data on our servers, we cannot "delete" your account or data history. To delete your data, simply uninstall the application or clear the app's storage in your device settings.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy if we introduce new features (such as cloud syncing or analytics). Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
