Privacy Policy for CapyLog
Last Updated: October 7, 2026
The canonical product site is capylog.app/privacy. This page mirrors that policy for Rolle Studios.
CapyLog is a calm habit tracker published by Rolle Studios. Your habits, mood notes, and journal stay on your device whenever possible. This policy explains what data exists, what may leave your phone, and what choices you have.
1. General Information
Rolle Studios is a micro-enterprise (individual entrepreneur) registered in France.
Legal Representative: Léo-Paul Chauvigné
Headquarters: 61 Rue de Lyon, 75012 Paris, France
Contact Email: contact@rollestudios.com
2. On-device by default
CapyLog does not require an account. Habits, completions, streaks, rest days, mood and energy check-ins, journal notes, urge logs, wardrobe unlocks, language preference, and related settings are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a CapyLog cloud database for that content.
3. Data you create
- Habit & pattern data: names, schedules, reminders, completions, streaks, archives.
- Wellbeing inputs: mood, energy, journal text, and urge-related notes you choose to log.
- Preferences: language, week start, life focus, notifications, wardrobe/cosmetics.
- Backups: exports you create via Backup & transfer stay under your control unless you choose to send a file to us (for example by emailing support).
4. Notifications
Optional local reminders are scheduled on your device. Permission is requested by the operating system. Reminder content stays on-device.
5. Analytics & crash reporting
CapyLog uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand feature usage and improve the app. It may receive app interaction events, broad technical information, and a pseudonymous app installation identifier. Analytics events use feature and action categories and do not include habit names, journal text, mood notes, or other free-form content.
CapyLog uses Firebase Crashlytics to identify and fix crashes. Crashlytics may receive crash logs, diagnostic information, app version, operating system and device information, and a pseudonymous installation identifier. This information is used for app stability and troubleshooting, not advertising.
6. Advertising & consent
CapyLog may show ads through Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), including app-open ads after the first session of a day. Where required, we use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) for consent. You can open Privacy settings from the app’s Settings screen, and manage advertising/tracking options in your device settings.
CapyLog is not directed at children under 13.
7. Website
Visits to capylog.app and this Rolle Studios page may generate standard web server/CDN logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) used to deliver and secure the site.
8. What we do not do
- No CapyLog account sign-in for core habit tracking.
- No cloud sync of your habit journal to Rolle Studios servers.
- No sale of your habit or mood content.
- No contacts, precise location, photo library, or microphone access for core features.
9. Your rights
On-device data is controlled by you in the app (edit/delete, uninstall, or restore from your backup). For support emails, contact contact@rollestudios.com. We do not sell personal information.
10. Changes
We may update this policy when the app or our practices change. The “Last Updated” date will change when we do.
